Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-01-17

1. Overview

DroneCraft (“we,” “our,” or “Service”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to the DroneCraft web app, API, and related MCP services.

2. Data We Collect

  • Usage data: IP address (anonymized in logs, e.g., last octet masked), request timing, and rate-limit and abuse-prevention metrics. We do not persistently store full IPs.
  • Data you provide: Messages and design inputs you send to the Service. If you provide an API key (e.g., OpenAI), it is used only to fulfill your request and is not logged or stored by us.
  • Local storage: The web app may store preferences, design drafts, and (if you choose) an API key in your browser’s local storage. We do not receive or store this data on our servers.

3. How We Use Data

We use the data above to: operate and improve the Service; enforce rate limits and abuse prevention; comply with law; and protect our systems and users. We do not sell your personal data. Third-party AI or MCP providers (e.g., OpenAI) process data according to their own policies when you use your or our API keys.

4. Data Minimization & Retention

We collect only what is needed for the Service. Rate-limit and abuse data are kept in memory and cleared periodically; we do not retain long-term PII beyond what is necessary for connectivity and security. Documents or content in linked services (e.g., Google Drive, Box, when used with the MCP research agent) remain in your account; we do not store your documents.

5. Your Rights (e.g., GDPR)

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, or to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@dronecraft.co. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We will respond within a reasonable time. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

6. Cookies and Tracking

The Service may use essential and functional cookies (e.g., for preferences). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics, if used, are configured to minimize identification. You can control cookies via your browser settings.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, input validation, rate limiting, and abuse detection. API keys you provide are not logged or stored on our servers.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have received such data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
